This morning I flew from YOW-BOS on a CRJ. There was no skycheck, and no bags were put into the cargohold.

The captain said that the manufacturer had advised Air Canada not to use the cargo hold on any CRJs. Yes, all CRJs.

Everyone who (luckily) did not check their bags shoved everything on board. And everyone freom the first 3 rows had to sit in the back for weight distribution reasons. Bags that were checked were presumably sent by other non-CRJ aircraft.

Did this happen to anyone else, and does anyone have a status update?
