Boycott Hyatt over pet policy??!! I love dogs too, however I stay at Hyatt properties because I like this policy. Even though we're platinums at Starwood, my wife and I refuse to stay at many of their New York locations (especially the Sheraton times square) because many rooms smell like urine.

We checked in at the Sheraton last year and two consecutive rooms smelled horrible. Now we had no idea that they allowed pets in the room so it was quite a shock. We canceled our reservation and stayed at the W for one night and then left for Hilton.
