Well, I won't boycott Hyatt for it since I do like Hyatt hotels. And, Much as I would love to take my two best friends (black labs) with me on every trip, they can't upgrade to First so they refuse to fly.

But Hmmmm....would I rather sleep in a room where a big lazy dog was sleeping, and doing nothing else in particular....probably bothering no one;......or would I rather stay in a non-smoking room where the last person decided to smoke anyway....left the room stinking; and left gum stuck to the headboard.....and did God knows what on the bedspread.....(at a really nice hotel, too).

Give me the dog any day.
