Sorry, I have not stayed at any of those Hilton properties. I am a big fan of the Hilton Islington. Great neighborhood, like NYC's Upper West Side, and it is where Tony Blair represented his constituency before he became PM. Even ate in the resto where the deal was struck for him to run! Also, many late night and cheap eclectic restos there.

Do you have some status with Hilton? Do you know that if you have, you only need to book a room for 1 as the spouse stays for free?

I have had very good success ferreting our cheapo rates on their website, so if you give me dates, I can look for you.

Also, have stayed at the Metropole, Green Park, Mews, and the Trafalgar.

Finally, stayyed on a 7 ngiht award stay at the Renn Chancery Court, and if you want to pay, that is a really nice place, especially if you have some Marriott status. Moreover, you probably can get an Entertainment Card discounted rate there, as well!

So, let me know dates. IMHO, those Hiltons are not up to snuff compared to the Islington or the Metropole.

Also, there are many comments about those hotels, on the Hilton board, so you should do a search.
Well, the Bristish are tolerant as to what they consider a "spouse." Moreover, have gotten really good free buffet breakfasts for 2 based upon my Gold status with Hilton at the Islington. Really, "interesting: English breakfast specialties, like Haggis, Welsh fried thing a ma jigs, etc., all to a vibrant imaged breakfast lounge with Rock music playing!
