I comtinued to be annoyed by some Hyatts (Hyatt SFO in particular) absolutely refusing to allow a credit towards a full breakfast when a guest has a coupon for a buffet breakfast. I am even MORE annoyed when I take advantage of some special (like an AAA rate) which states it includes a FULL breakfast when in fact the only thing offered is a coupon for a lousy buffet. As a result I've stopped staying at this hotel. Management has been totally unrespponsive to my complaints about this. They charge $14.95 for the buffet. Why can't I have a $10 credit towards a breakfast I want???
