This topic is a result of the poor continental breakfast at many R/C lounges. (some Grand Clubs however DO provide some goodies !)

I was thinking about the marginal cost difference between the Contin.Breakfast at the lounge and providing buffet bfast at the restaurant to Diamond members.
NOT MUCH.

conclusion: give Diamonds buffet breakfast.
(n.b. I DO tip the waitors serving coffee during compl. buffet breakfast)

an answer of Hyatt was that it could result in cannibalism of own business. I disagree: I do not think that Diamond members BUY buffet breakfast when they are offered complimentary con. bfast.

Advantage to Hyatt: Strong Improvement of loyal and SATISFIED customers.
Disadvantage to Hyatt: when other FT-programs follow.


Conclusion: In case of buf.bfast provided Hyatt would get all my hotel business !!

Well: at least prepare some FRESHLY Squeezed ORANGE Juice instead of water-like Lemonade (which needs a sticker to be identified as orange juice !)
