Well before the change, there were proposals to name FAT after such longtime pols as B.F. Sisk and Ted Wills, but they (thankfully) never went anywhere.
Also, when the name did get changed, the city did inquire as to what would be involved to change the designation to FYI, but they quickly abandoned the idea.
