Kathmandu to Kuala Lumpur via Delhi
I am going to an india-kathmandu trip via kuala lumpur this february. I searched for flights using the multi city booking of Jet Airway's website to get the cheapest fare. I searched for the following sectors:
1. Kuala Lumpur to Delhi,
2. Delhi to Kathmandu,
3. Kathmandu to Kuala Lumpur.
The best and cheapest option generated by the airline's system entailed connecting flights in the third sector:
Kathmandu-DElhi 15:45 to 17:15 (jet airways)
delhi - chennai 19:30 to 22:05 (jet airways konnect)
chennai to kl 00:01 to 06:15 (jet airways)
my concerns are the following:
1. Is the two hour and 15mins interval between kathmandu -delhi and delhi - chennai flight sufficient? Also, arrival is on international terminal and departure is on domestic terminal (both in delhi).
2. delhi-chennai and chennai-kuala lumpur - Interval is also 2hours. Do I have sufficient time in here? Arrival is on domestic terminal and departure is on international terminal (both in Chennai).
3. Also, will my baggages be transferred directly to the connecting flight?
4. Do I need to pass Indian Immigration again upon arrival to delhi from kathmandu or will I just connect to my other flight directly? I am a holder of a non-indian passport -philippine passport to be exact but all VISA requirements will be obtained prior to the trip.
Any comments or actual experiences are greatly appreciated.
