Funny story about this...

When we were on our FFN at the Hyatt Kauai, we were listening to two VERY loud New York couples talking (Hey, I am from Jersey, I am allowed to make fun of myself...) Both couples were 30ish and on their respective honeymoons. Both paid a lot of money through a package for air and hotel at the Hyatt Kauai after Hyatt Maui for one and Grand Wailea for other.

One of them had their receptions at the GH NY. They had no idea about the renovations and supposedly showed up on Thursday before wedding and saw renovations and were upset. They said, "We are spending a lot of money, plus all of our guests are staying here, blah, blah... Can't you cut us a deal?" GH NY said no, but since you are staying a Hyatt Maui and Hyatt Kauai, we will see what we can do to get you u/g to RC.

Got to Maui. Checkin. Ask about u/g. Maui says "Uh, NO. We never do that.." Oh well.

Got to Kauai. Same thing.

Also should not both couples get free breakfast with their package.

What is even funnier, the other couple was like, "Oh, our breakfast coupons are better than THAT... I mean all they get is a continental breakfast." The bride corrected them by saying, "Not from what I have heard, free drinks and appetizers..." The other couples jaw dropped...

The couples had been out to every major restaurant in Maui and Kauai.

Wowsers...I don't want to know what their bill must look like.
