A point of view fm someone that has a personal, not a corporate card... Perks have never been of much interest to me and there may be others better placed to answer that but in general, I've been very pleased with the card and the CTS etc. It did get me quite a bit of discounts, upgrades, tickets, reservations, hard to obtain gadget sourcing, short term gift services etc. On the plus side are perks from third parties. Arrived in London early recently, found myself checking in but not having a reservation. I look at it as a an additional PA on call. Swiss card holders are dealing with the German and Swiss CTS and both are very responsive. I mostly use email for all requests and get immediate responses via email. There are irregular mostly hotel offers by snail mail. The website hasn't been updated for ages. The biggest issue is not the card nor the color but merchant acceptancy in general, which I find decreasing. I was offered the UK one initially but opted for the Swiss on just shortly thereafter. I have quite a few acquitances that have the card as well (mostly entrepreneurs) but I've never discussed it.

The product is very good (not excellent - excellency is very hard to achieve) and just a tool within a portfolio of tools. It has shortcommings for example:

- found US based merchants not accepting foreign issued amex cards online
- the fact that one is using Germandand Swiss Centurion services, makes it hard to build a relationship with an agent, one deals with too many
- travel insurance is handled by AXAaahhhrrrgghh in Munich, a crappy operation which I have just painfully experienced
