The jury is still out on MyPoints. I have had the same troubles as Catman in getting my points from BonusMail converted properly. I have also had a few problems actually getting to some of the web sites they are giving points away for looking at.
As for the $50+ for 5000 miles, my rule of thumb is never to spend more than 8/10 of 1 cent per mile if I'm just making the purchase for miles. At 6/10 of a cent per mile (i.e. $60 for 10,000 miles) I feel the miles by themselves are a good deal. The MyPoints-Disney offer is basically 1 cent/mile so I'll pass.
