Gotcha. Indeed, Y100,000 rack is way too high. I stayed there once paying that kind of dough (99,000 per night), but I got a suite that was bigger than my apartment in the US. In that room, you could have slept 12 comfortably, 6 in the bed and six in the living room.

I won't do it again. Although the room ("apartment") was quite a piece of work, I found their Park Corner rooms (with the Mt. Fuji view from the bathtub and the bathroom running the length of the room) to be much, much better value for money. There was more closet space in the Park Corner room, felt airier and open because of the large windows, and Mt. Fuji at sunrise is excellent...

Rack rates at the PHT start at Y38,000 or so. Maybe this 50% discount just doesn't apply?
