Unless things have changed-you just call up GP res and they do it on the spot. i have done it with one day .You just cant do it on the net as it takes a few days for it to come out of the account and they are probab;ly worried that someone will do multiple bookings and go into negative balance.
When you book with a real person they take out the points while you wait.
