I just returned from a 4 day Priceline stay at $47/night. I was a little disappointed in the hotel, although I can't complain much given the rate I had. Part of my disappointment I think stemmed from the fact that I arrived there after 3 nights at the Park Hyatt in LA which was fabulous.

I guess I was on the wrong side of the hotel, but construction noise was very loud and woke me up a little before 8 am every morning. I also found the concierge desk to be practically useless. In particular, a blond woman working at the desk was extremely unhelpful and had difficulty with virtually every request I made - basic things like directions, good breakfast restaurant etc.

Despite the construction noise and other minor issues, the hotel is fairly nice, and a good deal at the price I paid on Priceline.
