Apparently, new accounts only. You must provide both your Gold Passport and AAdvantage number at time of check-in, choose miles for your stay and pay an eligible rate. Eligible rate is any hotel published room rate except: airline employee, travel agent industry, inter-company or Hyatt employee discount, permanent contracted and hotel contract room rates.
