Can someone explain Delta's Milliion Miles program to me. I was mainly a NWA flyer for all these years until now. I've flown Delta a few times (not by choice).

I looked at my Skymiles account and I have somewhere around 31000 Million Miles listed.

What are these?

What can they be used for?

How do these (if they do) differ than regular skymiles?

Can I use them for purchasing tickets or are they for something else.

I can't seem to find anything that really explains what benefit these are.


(Sorry if this seems like a stupid question, but NWA never had anything like this broken out before into different mile segments)
