I've never had these work for me either, and they actually require a good deal of effort on your part. Usually it consists of:

1. Providing to server after meal
2. Server returns for an explanation of what it is
3. Manager, who is summoned, gets an explanation of what it is
4. Wait a month
5. Start calling and faxing proof
