I issued several tickets this month using my Amex Plat Aeroplus as part of my business expenses.. got a call from Amex yesterday saying that it is against IATA rules to issue tickets for someone else other than the card holder or a direct family member .. !!

I specifically asked the agent, if my friend asked me to issue the ticket using my credit card, is that against IATA rules, she said YES, and quoted me some IATA code number, I was driving my car at the time so I didn't write it down..

Did this happen to anybody here .. ?

I usually put the charges on my CIBC Aerogold for business, and never had a porblem but this is the first time I use Amex.
