Hey, what can you say... if the weather is good along the northeast corridor, the RJ flight from RIC to JFK should hopefully be close enough to ontime for them to make the connection. You would have been far kinder if you arranged for your parents to get a IAD-LAX nonstop. Instead, an RJ flight to JFK (the first to get canceled in weather or ATC flow control), a walk up a flight of stairs to the JFK terminal 2, a bit of a hike to the terminal 3 for the SkyTrain, and another trip through security at the UA terminal. How is their overall capability in terms of ability to get around?
