I've just returned after spending more than an hour in the 747 simulator with my Dad. An amazing experience, made all the better by the brilliant pilot/trainer we had who made the whole thing so enjoyable. We had enough time to have the autopilot land us under extremely difficult conditions too, and I came away with a new-found respect for what pilots do.
