That's an interesting idea. I haven't tried the europcar.co.uk site directly yet. It wouldn't be the first time that a "contract" has ended up being more expensive than rack.

I suspect Hertz are going to get the business anyway - the price is lower (whatever way you look at it), they recognise my M&M number, and they're doing a double status promo too. (Which is 1,000 M&M miles as opposed to 3,400 DC miles. Are 1,000 M&M miles on the account worth more than 3,400 DC miles in the bush - sorry, stuck in limbo somewhere needing 6 weeks of chasing to get credited?!)
