You can buy the $ gift certs and earn
5 points per dollar. Also you should earn
some points for each dollar spent on the
convention. I had my wedding/reception at
a Hyat and they gave me 2 points per dollar
spent. I would make sure the catering
department accepts the Hyatt Gift checks
for payment. There should be no reason
why they shouldn't. You could ask
the Hyatt rep about it when you order the
gift checks. I just looked the Hyatt web
site and it has the 5 bonus point offer per
$1 spent on Gift checks expiring 31 March '02.
If you order them use our Mariott Card to
get points there.
