The world has shrunk on AA as well. 2 miles here, 3 miles there. I suspect it is why the new dl.com does not show you MQMs and SM earned for upcoming itins either.

Not a bad tactic on their part, why would an individual care about 2 miles, or 10 miles on a 4000+ mile journey? But when aggregrated over the tens of thousands of pax per day it is a huge savings for them.
