Scuppers my plans for a first class trip on TK via IST to DYU(Dushnabe) from Tokyo but am considering a trip to ASB (Ashkabat/Turkmenistan) instead. Looks like a very interesting place.
That's not so surprising now that they've moved Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan to Zone 5. This list was originally built when they were in 7 and 8.
I'd love to visit Ashkabat. If you do, make sure to go see the
giant technicolour statue of their holy book read to you at 8pm!
