i stayed there once before, with a confirmed booking in a park room...i booked via american express centurion travel services, and both my diamond status and my centurion card should entitle me to an upgrade based on availability...i even sent an email to them one day before arrival, saying something like it would be my first stay there, and as a diamond card member and a centurion cardholder i would really appreciate if they could confirm an upgrade for me at check-in, etc...of course, in the end, no upgrade...but they did acknowledge receiving my email, and explained that the hotel is full and so no upgrade...i don't know if it's just an excuse though...
