I'd be this mad if I were walked from the Westin Times Square to - let's say - the Sheraton Manhattan.
But to the Court from the Tuscany or vice-versa? Well, I'm man enough to admit that I'd have politely, and without show, have worked for a free night and the 20K points; but I'd also have enjoyed the suite at the Court and moved on.
I don't think anyone in this forum who knows the properties would object to a hotel switch as long as the rooms were comparable. In this case, it was an upgrade.
As far as a "noisy suite" mentioned by the OP: My expectation is that W hotels are more active and in many cases more loud. I guess it depends on the type of noise. Loud music from a guest room? I call the front desk and have them deal with it. Loud talking in the hallway? I'll deal with it. Loud "gettin busy" by fellow guests? Never a complaint!
