You should know that the new planned F wasn't going to live up to expectations in the light of new products launched by CX and others, so new F was pulled for a re-think. The planned new F product was then moved to the Crew reports so that the CSD's could put their feet up, paint their nails, read "Hello", before boarding in the hope they would refrain from doing this and actually go round and service their passengers in the air.

The problem with the new new F is that it's too large to put on the 777, and that 50" plasma will require in-flight use of the APU to provide enough power. Given these challenges it's understandable that the refit won't take place until the A380 arrives. This does however provide enough time (just) for the new 1st class passenger reception to be built alongside the perimeter road and just inside Crash Gate number 7. I understand that Jaguar are providing the cars to convey passengers from the terminal direct to the aeroplane, although BA are trying to negotiate with BAA to ensure, they don't have to first go through a drive through duty-free facility.

With the BA purchase of BD from LH, the onboard chef programme which was so popular at BD is to be rolled out in all BA F cabins. And on catering issues there is a 15% chance that fresh eggs will be loaded at outstations, for breakfast prior to a morning LHR arrival. The egg quality in the UK is still an issue and so World War 2 egg powder will be retained for all LHR departures.

BA have noted the success that VS have had with a massage therapist but feel this is going too far for them to replicate. BA F passengers though will be offered a steam laundry service. Recruiting the former Royal Navy chinese laundry boys, they will occupy the space round the lavatory cubicles in whY and will freshly press F passengers clothes, so they can look their best on arrival. The new PJ's are to be a wool aand silk mixture, sourced from just inside the Myanmar border, although they will be labeled Thailand, to appease people who vote nu Labour.

And finally after years of fence sitting on the issue, there will be a return of Concrode's celler in the sky, featuring a grand marque champagne form the top 15 houses of Reims and Epernay. So I'm sure we'll all give a big hurrah for Louise, Dom, Comtes, Grand Dame, and so forth gracing our table soon. To save costs though they are keeping the current water accent glasses.

I'm actually looking forward to the new F very much and I just hope the airline is still flying for it's roll out in 2012.

Very good!^ Ever thought of writing sci fi for a career? @:-) You'd clean up!
