Award question: can I consolidate individual reservations?
I am trying to book 3 award tickets from DFW to YUL. At the start of the week, only 1 seat was available, so I went ahead and put that on hold. Then yesterday another seat opened up, so I went ahead and put that on hold also.
Now I have 2 seperate record locators for 2 family memebers travelling together on the same flight.
Is there an advantage to asking CustomerService to consolidate them into a single record?
There is a chance I may need to change the itin or cancel and refund the AA miles to my account. Is it more favorable to me to do this with a single record locator? I'm trying to minimize on service fees.
