Amtrak has 6 trains per day. Depending on how much you want to drive: Door County is 2.5 hours north for great "sea scapes", the Kettle Moraine areas are only 45 minutes northwest; the Wisconsin River valleys 2 hours west (including the very pretty, but absolute tourist trap of the Dells)/or Spring Green with Frank Lloyd Wright's Taliesen et.al.
