Indeed. There's actually "outstanding", "superb", "excellent", "very good", "good", "moderate" and "mediocre". (Maybe more that I didn't see.)
I would love to know the basis on which they decide how to categorise a lodge. Just looking randomly at some ratings, Kirawira in the Serengeti gets a mere "good" - I thought it deserved much more than that. Singita Ebony is "excellent" while Notten's is "superb". Now much as I love dear little Notten's even I am amazed at those relative ratings. Similarly Tshukudu in Pilanesberg is "very good" while the Sun City Cabanas is "excellent"!! That is just ludicrous.
