Paid stays with AMEX card, does not sound
like award stays would count to me??

I also seem to have missed something. "City" , I see no requirement that says 2 nights at 2 Hyatts in the same city do not count. This would be against all previous rules of any promotion with Hyatt that I can remember. In fact many Diamonds (one's that earn, not comped) only get there stays by alternation between city and AP Hyatt's in the same city.
