I'm headed down to Peru for a little over a week myself next month, and I'm planning on fitting in a flight over the Nazca lines, hanging in Lima for 4 days, and, of course, hiking the Inca Trail to Macchu Picchu.

And even though I'm focusing on two areas really (with a flyover to see the Lines), I still feel like I don't have nearly enough time to see / explore fully. I, too, vote for sticking with one country / region of the country and truly experiencing all it has to offer. I hate that even I'm just scratching the surface!
