Well, I don't use TYP's anymore, but I just booked my family 3 RT tickets from JFK to Beirut for next summer and 3 RT tickets from JFK to Jamaica also next summer all paid for (minus about $300 in taxes) from a canceled business class ticket on AA worth $5300.00 that I booked with TY points early this year before all the wonderful devaluations and changes in February. The difference for all six tickets was a whopping .96 cents. (plus the $10.00 it cost me to mail the paper vouchers to AA today).
