i have no issues at all with 1a/b or 1h/j and they are my preferred seats on the 777x2 (haven't sat in the middle two) as at 6'1, my feet don't touch the b/h wall at all. i prefer the aisle and have had no problems with my seat mate trying to step over me. i can't speak about noise from the galley as it's usually cuz i've had my bailey's and coffee and have gone off to dreamland. hope this helps
