Funny how perceptions are different. I find that on CX, yes the flight attendants tend to disappear after meal service, but if I press the call button they appear almost immediately and pleasantly offer service. On other airlines, if you press the call button, the flight attendants' style makes you feel like you are disturbing them.
I find the CX style better as it means that they are not constantly walking through the cabin on a long haul disturbing sleep.
