Excellent info, thanks! I will be in Rome 10/22-10/25 and have been debating purchasing the "skip the line" tickets. I have heard similar stories about nightmare lines at the Colosseum any advice there? We were also interested in seeing the Villa Borghese and may just buy tickets in advance on the internet. I read that www.selectitaly.com has advance tickets.

Any additional advice would be appreciated.
