I've stayed in both. Catwings pretty much nailed it on the head. RC has a beautiful lobby, awful rooms, non-existent service. 4S has no beautiful lobby, but good service and much better rooms (although Ritz probably has better views from higher floors). I won't comment on food, as it is equally awful at both properties.
