So this is our plan for Sunday October 11- Monday October 12th. I've purchased the tickets but have a couple of hours left to cancel. I bought them yesterday at 5 pm Eastern time.

Please let me know if it makes sense. Keep in mind we are not elite this year, for the first time in 10 years, and want to get the status back. The cost of the flights for two people is $534.80. We live near EWR but are driving to PHL

We'll stay at the Marriott Courtyard in Philly on Marriott Reward Points on Saturday night since our flight is at 6 am on Sunday October 11th.

We fly into IAH and then SNA and stay at the Costa Mesa Marriott, near SNA, again on MRP, and leave the next day, October 12th, at 11 AM out of SNA which gets us back (after a plane change in IAH) to PHL at 11:38 at night.

We are trying to do the DEQMs that CO is offering. With these two flights we will be silver. Then if it works out we will do the same flights a few more times to get Gold. Does it look like a plan?
