Hey guys, any advice or info would be appreciated.

Travelling GLA-ATH next week, and connecting thru T5 for the first time (normal routes in the last 2 years have always seen us transitting thru LGW).

Question is, when my wife and children try and financially ruin me on the return flights by spending anything we have left in ATH Duty Free, should I expect any difficulties upon arrival into LHR ?

The return sector brings us into T5 at 1640hrs, and our onward shuttle is not until 2015hrs, so I need to know if any liquids over the 100mls limit will be OK to take from the inbound flight to the Galleries, and then onto the LHR-GLA flight in the evening ? Obviously any purchases will remain sealed, and I will have receipts for any goods (shoplifting not being my "thing").

The BAA website suggests that there should be no problems bringing liquids from originating airport in the EU and onwards in UK domestic, but I am keen to hear from anybody who has actually done so !
