I'd be interested as well. I'd love to go for a weekend with my family, and I'd probably choose one of these (although being Marriott Platinum, it's tempting to choose a Marriott brand just to rack up more points, ugh).

The one thing I like about the Ritz is having club level. It's convenient for a quick breakfast (especially with children), a light snack and cool drink or coffee in the afternoon (rather than waiting in a restaurant) and a drink before heading out to dinner. We always stay club level for the convenience. If you're going to be out sightseeing ALL day, then it's not worth it (then I'd solely be concerned about location, rather than amenities). I wish FS had club levels. Marriotts do during the week, but they're completely different, just okay for a quick snack but not the same at all.
