I'm Diamond too and live outside the US. I made some of these points at a discussion group with the VP marketing at Hyatt.

He had an assistant call me back and I rattled off a list of things I'd like to see changed.

I normally get an upgrade almost everywhere, but what annoys me is that Plat. members get confirmed Regency Club upgrades. Whilst we poor Diamonds only get upgrades based on availability at check-in. Me thinks this is the wrong way round!
