As described above, the hotel is a bit outdated, but its fine in my opinion. I've always had decent stays there. Its not the same wow that I am used to in most other Asia Hyatt's, but its fine.

Personally, I think the Westin is a nice/newer hotel, but the Hyatt is in a better location typically for me when in TPE and i've always had reliable stays there.
