After having had a wonderfull flight into Singapore, the flight from Singapore was, well, not that well. It was a 6.5 hrs night flight (breakfast only) which turned into a nightmare. Given, economy itself is a nightmare
But that made even LH Economy lock like a rather nice deal.
Granted, SQ can't do anything about turbulences almost all the way. But it was just the circumstances adding up. It was 100% full, and KrisWorld stopped working plane-wide after less then 1hr into the flight.
The crew tried re-booting the whole system at least 2 times (probably more, just 2 were visible) and it took them 4.5 hrs to get online again. Some people who were enjoying their movies because they couldn't sleep started talking again (It was probably the loudest nightflight I've ever had) with each other, and those who tried to sleep couldn't because of the lights from their monitors going on and off continously, no matter what you tried (During each reboot/shutdown cycle)
Now, the crew certainly can't be blamed for this, they did a great job, finally getting the system working again 1hr before landing (and with the return of the headphones, making it around 1.5hr of the 6.5hrs flight we could use KrisWorld...
Now, given the above informations, would you complain about this ? (I mean the not working KrisWorld. And, where actually? Tried looking on their website, nothing usefull found)
And if yes, what to ask for? Miles? Have them asked for a certain amount? (5000? more?) or just asking for them to judge? (I'm a lowly M&M FTL only)
