I might do that.

I was informed via email.. "Priority ClubŪ Rewards credit is awarded for the majority of rates
InterContinental Hotels Group offers to business and leisure travelers.
Deeply discounted rates, which may be 30% or more off the hotel's regular
rate, do not qualify for points. Unfortunately, the rate paid during your
stay in Singapore on 2/28/04 was deeply discounted and is ineligible for
credit to your account."

My stay was book right on the website and not even close to be 30% or more off the regular rate. HHonors and Starwood always give points for stays book on their websites regardless of the rates.
