I was on ua 959 yesterday returning from heathrow To ord and saw lots of media on the Tarmac as we taxied. Once deplaned in t5, I saw the hoopla of Chicago media vans outside terminal 3. I thought it was strange since I know ua was the Olympic airline, especially since it's also the hometown airline. I went and checked out T1 and sure enought the whole 2016 crew was there getting ready to head to plane. Guess they just parked the news vans near t3, but the action was def in t1. Very cool site to see the 747 all lit up for the cameras.

It was a charter and won't be regular flight. Hope thy cleaned up the cabin nice and pretty since a lot of this delegation like pat Ryan are used to flying private.

Oh and the pin you see was a 2016 pin that all the supporters in Chicago have been wearing, unfortunaty not anything ua specific or with their logo, at least not yet. Maybe when we win the bid well see that sorta. stuff.
