Banks and large Coin Deposits
I've been ordering and depositing the coins for about a month now. I know I'm a little late to the party but I found that if I put each small box (10 rolls) into a sandwich ziploc bag, the tellers are able to process the 1000-2500 dollars worth i bring in every day. I deposit it in NYC at a large bank and never had a problem. I did open a TD Bank account for their penny arcade coin counter and regretted it immediately. The bag is full after 100 coins which means I need to always have a employee emptying the bag for me. i just feel awful bringing in over 1000 dollars and have them fill 10 bags. Those bags are quite large, they need to be able to fill it up with more than 100 bucks of coins.
My next potential bank is capital one. anyone use them for coin deposits?
