Sorry but after at least a decade of listening to folks predict the demise of WS and be very wrong I wouldn't bet against them in the coming decade. Will they suddenly become a large airline on the world stage overnight? Of course not. However neither did AC so give 'em time.

Air Canada is our last chance to be a real player on the international airline stage.
I thought it already was? No, not a colossal financial powerhouse perhaps but a solid, well respected international airline. Like him or not RM was elected to chair IATA's BOG a few years back and I'm sure they don't give that perk to the parking attendant. Maybe underestimating AC is another Canadian trait.
