AA confirmed to me that it is legitimate. I also informed them last week of the specific problem with the email. It's a fairly simple problem, and it both makes the email appear garbled to many people and more likely to be blocked by spam filters. I would have thought it would have taken someone ten minutes to fix the problem, but from the continuing reports, it seems they haven't done so.

glad to hear this because I registered y'day and haven't received my code. I just changed my spam guard in case it gets lost there. I guess I'll wait a few days in hopes that it comes. If not, I will try another email account...
Note that the problem makes the email appear to have no "From:" header field, so the most common mechanisms to "bless" email as not spam won't work.
