I needed to buy some cans of that Danish Stella substitute on board a mainline bmi flight today and was surprised when my Amex card was processed without issue.

I wonder when this happened, there's been no mention here of Amex being accepted on bmi mainline, then again there's probably not much call for anyone here to buy on board thanks to the DC meal deal.

I wonder if this was just a general change of policy by the caterer or has bmi been applying the pressure to accept Amex as it must be embarrassing for the crew to refuse a credit card that has their logo plastered on the front of it.
