Checked-in at St. Regis Singapore last week, as a Platinum member, I asked if there is any chance of an upgrade, and was told all the suites are fully booked then.
As this was my 4th stay there since its opening, the Front Office Manager, Mr. Douglas recognizes me and politely told me I should check-in to the given room (a Grande room which is not bad at all) and he will personally give me a buzz should a suite become available later part of the day.
True enough, that evening I received a call saying that my suite is ready. Few minutes later he came over to my room with a butler to assist me move to my suite.
So far I am a satisfied customer here and service is excellent the moment I checked-in till I checked-out. All I can say is "Thank you very much for a making my stay pleasant, I will definately come back soon."
